Dear Friends,
Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support for our family and ministry! We are continually reminded that we do not walk this journey alone. Your faithful prayers are a tremendous blessing, and we are grateful for the many ways you stand with us. Thank you for being a blessing!
We would appreciate your prayers for several members of our family.

Please pray for David, who recently experienced a ruptured appendix. He was rushed into surgery and, thankfully, is recovering well. While his healing is progressing, he is finding himself quite "bored" during the recovery process! In fact, he recently invited Grandpa Forster to come and spend some time with him to keep him company and entertained. Thank goodness for the FIFA World Cup! We are grateful for the excellent care he has received and ask that you pray for a full and speedy recovery.

Please also pray for Jonathan, who will be celebrating his 12th birthday with friends this weekend! As parents, we have been blessed to watch him grow in maturity, kindness, and character. He continues to work part-time, is playing goalie in soccer, and enjoys Math and Coding at school. We thank God for His work in Jonathan's life and pray that he will continue to grow in wisdom, faith, and godly character.

We would value your prayers for Melanie
as well. She continues to struggle with recurring migraines, which have made this season particularly challenging. At the end of May, she enjoyed a refreshing Caribbean cruise with a friend, for which we are very thankful. However, her overall well-being has been lower in recent weeks. Please pray for relief from pain, renewed strength, and encouragement for her heart and spirit.

Finally, I would appreciate your prayers personally as I seek to faithfully balance family life, church ministry, and healthy self-care. There are many responsibilities and opportunities before us, and I desire God's wisdom and strength in each area! I desire to see God glorified as we serve the hungry, newcomers, and various needs in our church. I long for Jesus to be glorified as our church strategically sponsors the U10 Travel team which I am coaching. In particular, please pray for our efforts to hire summer students for community ministry. Despite ongoing efforts, we have had limited success thus far. Pray that God would provide the right individuals to serve, and that we would have discernment throughout the hiring process.
Thank you again for your faithful prayers. We are grateful for your partnership in ministry and for the ways you encourage us through your care and support. May the Lord bless you richly as you continue to serve Him.
With gratitude and love,
Phil, Melanie, Jonathan, David
