Hello beloved Friends and Family!

It’s been about two months since our last update and we want you to know, we love you! Time or geography does not limit our deep appreciation and respect of you as one of our beloved connections. Thank you for playing a part in our lives! Here are some updates:

Our Family: We are so thankful for our family!! Jonathan is in Grade 2 and he is very much enjoying school and a new “best” friend. Jonathan is very kind and has a gentle spirit. He is very much like his mom, Melanie! ❤️ Our extraverted David turned 6 in January. He is full of energy! He is also a strategist and beats us at strategic games like Blokus, Uno, and etc. He is like his dad with his dimple smile and playful eyes! 😁 We love them! Melanie and I are still investing in our weekly date nights and sharing in various church ministries and a growth group in our home! Melanie's biological family has gone through several changes in the last couple months. Her parents sold their cows and quota and her brother Dan is getting married! Please pray for us as a family as we love, enjoy life, and nurture our trust in God.

Our family has had the honour and privilege to get to know Dr. Elizabeth from Kenya! She is staying with us for the month of March as she navigates her next steps through our Canadian immigration systems. We all are very blessed to have her with us! Melanie has been enjoying long walks with Elizabeth - 17 km the other day! Join us in praying for Elizabeth as she is trying to restabilize while seeking sustainable options in Canada.

Ministry: We are thoroughly enjoying our church family! It will never cease to amaze us how God’s word and love can transform lives! I can’t tell you which moment has blessed me most… whether it was seeing young and older people rising out of the baptismal waters with a great big smile … or the senior at Garrison Place Retirement Home clutching my hand and saying “Thank You” with such sincerity in her eyes … or the night at our Growth Group when the Spirit’s presence seemed to be tangible … each experience of God’s transforming power was beautiful! Pray that we may never lose our zeal for serving the LORD. Our labour in the LORD in not in vain. Amen? We love God's Church! ❤️❤️

We can say with confidence that life is never boring! And we can say with sincerity, we treasure you! As our next update will likely be in May, we wish you and your family a most blessed Easter! May God’s love and presence of joy fill your homes and inspire you to walk in the Spirit! Thank you for praying with us and staying connected!

Love,

Phil, Melanie, Jonathan, David, & Elizabeth

Fort Erie, Ontario
